Overview

Any engineering design is only as good as its weakest link. In many designs, fasteners are the weakest link. More than 90% of all engineering failures involve fasteners, therefore it is paramount that people working in Mechanical Engineering have a clear understanding of the types of fasteners, critical features and their limitations.

Threaded fasteners have many advantages and hence are widely used in mechanical engineering applications. This training program provides an in-depth understanding of critical parameters and concepts of threaded fastening; for design, application, quality assurance and maintenance.
